Title of Class: Les Puces – Early Years French Lessons
Class Description:

Learn French like French children do – through songs, games and stories. For pre-school and primary school aged children.  Parents are very welcome to come and learn alongside their child, sharing the experience and progressing together. Many of our laases are ‘parent optional’ for school aged children.  Exclusive books and making projects tie in with the subjects you are learning.

Our 1 hour classes, taught by experienced linguists, concentrate on a nurturing educational experience. We take time and endorse a structured learning environment where the child and parent learn together.

Classes are in a variety of venues in the area so please check our website to find the most convenient class for you.

Learning a language boosts cognitive function, gives children a head start at school and lets you say more than “bonjour” on holiday! Give your brain something to think about too.

Post Brexit signs are that languages are going to become more important in the future and, as the ear ‘changes’ around the age of 8, it’s a good idea to get some exposure to another language as early as possible.

Other Info:

Les Puces runs throughout the school calendar year. The ideal starting age is from 2 – 4 and suits children up to the age of 11.  Classes are divided into 4 x fifteen minute sessions of learning, singing, making something/colouring and story time. We include a snack or ‘gouter’ at each class and at the end of each half term you will have a project to take home.  On your first lesson you will be given the bilingual book that we are basing that half term on.

We ask you to pay a half term at a time, in advance. Class sizes are limited to 12, to ensure that each child (and parent) gets the best attention. Parents, we ask you not to be shy or to inhibit your child when learning a language and experimenting with new sounds – they learn from you so …. be brave!
