Pepenbury
Name: Pepenbury
Location: Cornford Lane, Pembury TN2 4QU
Overview: Pepenbury is a charity that provides residential homes, day services and support for people with learning disabilities.

Set in 100 acres of countryside with beautiful views, Pepenbury has a farm where the animals are cared for by the residents.  For a donation you can come and visit the many animals including donkeys, Kune Kune pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits.  
 
Pepenbury also has a coffee shop and a farm shop run by the resident and an area for children to play.

The Bluebell walk is approximately a mile and a half long through some of the prettiest and un-spoilt countryside in the High Weald.  A map of the woodland walk can be found in the Coffee Shop.  It is suitable for all ages.

Title: Dunorlan Park

Overview: Dunorlan is one of the finest parks in Tunbridge Wells. A beautiful, large park with plenty of open grassy spaces, boating lake, marshy areas, wildlife, a natural play area including slide, swing, climbing dragon and other play equipment. Also features Chalybeate Spring, Grecian Temple, water garden and other remarkable attractions.

Title: Wellington Rocks
Location: Situated on The Common in between Upper Cricket Ground and the Mount Edgecumbe pub
Overview: Iconic sandstone rock formation named in 1875 after the Wellington Hotel which located directly opposite, across the Mount Ephraim road.

These rocks are such fun to climb and play on and are surrounded by stunning woodland for a lovely walk.

Title: High Wood
Location: 1/4 mile from the village of Hawkenbury on the eastern edge of Tunbridge Wells. Follow High Woods Lane of Halls Hole Road, the woodland is divided by the road and access is from both sides.
Overview: Networks of paths through the wood on the part of the woods north of High Woods lane. The woods were damaged heavily in the 1987 storm but the Chesnut and mature oak standards are growing well. There are wonderful flowers to see in spring!

Barnett's wood LNR
Title: Barnetts Woods Nature Reserve

Overview: Habitat: Ancient semi-natural broadleaf woodland, Bluebells flower in some areas of the woodland in spring and many species of birds breed here every year. Ancient meadows have a diverse range of wild flowers growing in the grasses. Two ponds, both rich in wildlife – a dipping platform, tables and benches make this the perfect place for a spot of pond dipping!

Cinderhill community woodland
Title: Cinderhill Woods

Overview: Habitat: Areas of lowland heath acting as a stepping stone enabling flora and fauna to migrate across the area. In the summer months Cinderhill is host to a flock of hebridean sheep that graze on the bramble and birch saplings. 
A total of 60 bird species can be seen at Cinderhill and many reptiles also make home at Cinderhill.

Crane Valley

Overview: Habitat: Roundabout Wood contains both semi natural woodland and wet woodland areas. A circular woodland path runs through the site, which consists of boardwalks, steps and a footbridge, allowing access all year round. The stream running through the woods supports a good range of wildlife. The surrounding wet areas also support a vast, rich insect fauna, which includes both local and nationally scarce species.

Folly Shaw is an area of semi-natural broadleaved woodland, with a chalybeate stream running along the western boundary, and a footpath bisecting the wood in two.

Title: Marshley Harbour Wood
Location: Situated on the north eastern edge of Pembury with access available from a number of footpaths.
Overview: Marshley Harbour and adjoining Forest Woods comprise some 213 acres of mixed conifers and sweet chestnut coppice with open heathy glades. The site has an educational nature trail and a wonderful network of paths offering superb views of the ever-changing woodland landscape.

Title: Tudeley Woods Nature Reserve
Location: 0.6 mile (1 km) south of Tonbridge along the A21, take the left turn into Dislingbury Road (sometimes called Half Moon Lane), immediately before the petrol station on the left. The car park is 300 m along the lane, on the left. 
Overview: Escape to the woods in the newly restored heathlands, enjoy the grand old trees and woodland flowers. Beautiful orchids, bluebells and primroses in the spring.
